Welcome to the Journey

~~Who am I?~~

I am a lot of things. I’m a teenage girl who struggles with chronic pain both physically and emotionally. I’m a fallible person who makes more than my fair share of mistakes. I’m a person who can be very unwise for someone so smart. But I am also a Daughter of the King, who lives and works in me. I’m saved by the blood of Christ and justified before the Father. And one day I’m going to be with Him again.

This blog is about my journey until that day comes.

~~Why am I starting this blog?~~

This blog focuses on truth, so in the name of truth I’ll be honest. This blog is as much for me as it is for you. The name, Overcoming Hannah, conveys that I’m purposing to follow the Bible’s teaching and die to self, instead living as a new creation in Christ. The action of blogging holds me accountable and helps me become more God-centered rather than self-centered.

On the other hand, this blog caters to you, beloved reader! I love to teach and tell stories, and what better way to do this than in service to those who enjoy reading about it? I hope to show love to everyone who comes across my blog by providing teaching, entertainment, advice, and information.

~~What to expect from this blog?~~

I enjoy a lot of things, so I’d love to be able to touch on a wide range of topics with this blog. In general I’ll write about things such as my faith, my experiences, being a young girl in modern culture, different interests or hobbies, and anything else my readers would be interested in! I’ll try to have something for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and stay tuned for the next article coming soon!

Still overcoming,

Hannah
